In 1953, Tage Arnø, a Danish film editor and manufacturer of movie projectors, developed a projector solution making it possible to project 35 mm X-ray films on an included screen. This state-of-the-art cine X-ray film projector, also known as the “Tage Arnø table”, was warmly embraced by leading heart surgeons.
In 1967, the company changed name to TAGARNO and became the market leader within high quality and extremely reliable cardiac catheterization cine x-ray film projectors. The TAGARNO X-ray film projectors were sold worldwide for more than 35 years.
