Q. How to Install TAGARNO Measurement Software. 
A. Make sure that you have used the "Start Installation" icon, from the installation folder.
A. Make sure that you have installed the 5 needed programs, MAGNUS 1.1.3, Python 2.6.5., Scorpion 8.4.0.487., Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.
A. Make sure that you can see the TAGARNO USB Device in the Windows Device Manager.

Q. Where do I find the manual for TAGARNO Measurement Software?
A. The manual can be found on the USB-Key, together with the setup file for the software

Q. Where do I find the calibration sheets A, B and C?
A. When the software is installed, the are to be found under the TAGARNO AS folder installed on the PC.

Q. If the Measurement measured, when calibrating with Sheet A, B and C is not correct! 
A. Be sure to print the 3 sheets with the setting "Actual Size" and not "Scale to fit page".

What do I do when the monitor does not show an image?

A. Check that the lights on the MAGNUS HD are turned on.
A. Check that the monitor is turned on. 
A. Check that the DVI cable is correctly connected to both the monitor and the MAGNUS HD.
 
Q. When I try to split the monitor between the MAGNUS HD XPRO image and the computer image, the monitor turns blue?
A. Make sure that the resolution on the computer is set to 1280x720 60Hz or 1280x1024 60Hz.
A. Make sure to turn on the MAGNUS HD XPRO before turning on the computer. 
 
Q. Which monitors are supported?

A. The MAGNUS HD requires a monitor with either a DVI or HDMI input, a 16:9 panel format and HD compatibility.
 
Q. Which monitor sizes are supported?
A. You can use any sized monitor, as long as it is in 16:9 format and is compatible with DVI specs. ver. 1.0.
 
Q. How do I find the optimal working distance?
A. Press the white balance and the P button simultaneously to enter the menu. Choose “find the optimal working distance” and press GO. 
Use a flat object that the camera can focus on, i.e. a piece of paper with text. By moving the paper up and down you can coarsely find a camera-object distance where the camera gets in focus. Use this coarse height as a starting height for fine tuning. Now heighten or lower the MAGNUS HD to get it in focus, then use the OSD distance tool to fine-tune. Press P to exit the menu.

 
Q. How do I avoid flickering when using fluorescent light?
A. You can change the frequency of the camera in the setup menu. Press the white balance and the P button simultaneously to enter the menu. You can choose either 50Hz or 60Hz, choose the one your supply network uses (50Hz in Europe).
To switch between 50 and 60Hz you need to enter "Advanced mode" in the setup menu.
 
Q. Can I get the live image on a laptop?
A. No, you can only see the pictures taken with the XPRO software on your laptop.  
 
Q. The image captured, is blurred or incorrect set together!
A. Please check your USB cable
A. Please make sure your PC use USB 2.0 or later.
A. Check if the destination path leads to a USB-Key or a network folder.
A. Check you PC dont go into Sleeping mode between the imaged captured.
 
Q. The image is not in focus?
A. Make sure the focus height is correct according to the lens used (see the manual).
 
Q. The Split screen, dont give the same size image!
A. In the software find the "HOME" tab, press the "FULLSCREEN" icon.

Q. Autosaving captured images as JPG 
A. This function is not in the software yet, but will be implemented around July.

Q. Can I mount the ringlight on +25 and +32 optical lenses?
A. Yes, it is possible. Please turn all 3 screws a bit further in
